Wanderausstellung
Ausgehend von einer Auseinandersetzung mit Audre Lordes Worten:
“If I didn’t define myself for myself, I would be crunched into other people’s fantasies for me and eaten alive”
* zentralisiert die Ausstellung künstlerische Positionen Schwarzer Münchner*innen anhand von Poesie und Fotografie.
Die Kunstwerke zu den Themen Identität//en, Zugehörigkeit//en und Lebensrealität//en sind Ergebnisse kollektiver und intersektionaler Aushandlungen Schwarzer Akteur*innen und ruft dazu auf, namibische Perspektiven, die sich mit der Kolonialgeschichte und der kollektiven Heilung von Traumata befassen, in die Prozesse der Findung nach Schwarzer Identität in Deutschland einzubinden.
*Zu deutsch: “Würde ich für mich keine eigene Definition finden, würde ich in die Fantasien anderer Menschen gequetscht und lebendig gegessen werden.”

Based on an examination of Audre Lorde's words:
"If I didn't define myself for myself, I would be crunched into other people's fantasies for me and eaten alive”,
the exhibition centralizes artistic positions of Black Munich residents through poetry and photography.

The artworks on the themes of identity/s, belonging/s and life reality/s are the results
of collective and intersectional negotiations
of Black actors and calls for the integration
of Namibian perspectives dealing with colonial history and the collective healing of trauma to be integrated into the processes of finding Black identity in Germany.
